Sounds like serendipity

I think I'll be eternally grateful to the guy in the commissary queue in Mississippi who heard we were moving to Germany and told me, "You know where you should live? Queidersbach."

  1. OK, I've been wondering this since you moved there... how on earth do you say it? I always read it as, "Key-SEED-er-bark", and if my German is half as good as I think it is (which it isn't), I'm pretty sure that's wrong.

  2. We had it wrong while we were house-hunting, too. Let me see how to do this best...

Long "i" sound on the first syllable, soft Q. Counterintuitive, huh.
