Ye Olde Feral Rabbit Angel

I'm right about the feral-rabbit-angel, aren't I.

After several requests, I got my pregnant self up on a chair with the camera, to take a picture of our scary tree-topper. I know it's a tradition – it's been in Nathan's family for longer than I could say – but it's all wrong, and shouldn't be considered a Christmas decoration.

Halloween, perhaps?

(No wonder Berry cried.)

  5. Appalling, isn't it?

My husband is a man of good taste, but this is a bizarre aberration. I'm campaigning hard for its removal.

    Wish me luck...

  6. Doesn't he have any siblings to give it to? I mean, it is a bit creepy. Never seen a rabbit on top of a Christmas tree!

  7. oh, i love tradition and all but...but...that rabbit is a little hideous! is it plastic? poor berry - no wonder she cried! (apologies to nathan)

  8. It's ceramic – but I promise you, that doesn't make it any less offensive.

Another upsetting thought is that there are almost certainly more of these out there somewhere! May they never band together...

  10. I like it. As heirlooms go, it's got some zing. You will have to get used to it, as will Berry and her childern, and theirs in turn.

Let's face it. If NATHAN, a man of very few nostalgic tendancies has not disposed of it. It's a keeper.

    Please embreace the tradition.

  16. Well, that's just obvious isn't it. It would be like putting a demon-like stuffed kangaroo in Berry's room. Oh. Sorry.

    That thing should be destroyed.
